As EBS is unique in installing S.C.E as part of the installation sequence, it stamps SQL and other SCE credentials with the “administrator” account, before you can change the administrator account name.
Oliver Summer has a great blog on changing the administrator password located at http://dnn.ebsfaq.com/SCE2007/noalertsshowingupinSCE/tabid/1342/language/en-US/Default.aspx
if you follow those steps, and these additional ones you should be all set.
Goto Administration space\Security\Runas Accounts
Change the entry for the specific runas account by the user account name
Change the three data warehouse windows accounts –
Data Warehouse Action Account
Data Warehouse Report Deployment Account
Data Warehouse Configuration Synchronization Reader Account
In SQL, use the reporting service configuration tool
Select “Execution Account”
Update the execution account and/or password
Then go to
Microsoft SQL Server management Studio Express;
In object explorer go to “Security” “Logins” rename the domain\administrator to domain\newchangedaccountname
Restart SQL & SCE services.
Check the Applications events to ensure that there are no Error: 15404, State: 11
